Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about running coaching and training plans
- What does a running coach do for me?
- A coach writes your weekly plan based on fitness, goals, and time to race — managing volume, intensity, and recovery to help you improve without getting injured.
- Is this suitable for beginners?
- Yes. If you're new to running or working toward your first 5K, we build up gradually with technique work and sensible progress — no jumping in too fast.
- How is the training plan personalized?
- After you submit a request, we have an online consultation to review your history, past injuries, goal, and available time. Your monthly plan is then tailored to you.
- How do check-ins and follow-ups work?
- The first consultation is online. During the month you log workouts (via the dashboard or Telegram bot), I track your progress, and adjust the plan when needed.
- How long until I'm ready for my first race?
- It depends on the distance and your current level. A 5K often takes 8–12 weeks, a half marathon 12–20 weeks, and a marathon longer. We'll set a realistic timeline in the consultation.
- Can I keep running if I've been injured before?
- It depends on the injury. Note your history in the request form; if your doctor has cleared activity, we'll use conservative volume and supporting exercises.
- What's the difference between online and in-person coaching?
- Online coaching covers planning and remote follow-up. For technique review, at least one in-person session per month is recommended to work on form and key cues.
